This week's newsbites:
- Most of the details about High Stakes Poker season 6 have emerged, other than the lineup: they'll film 13 episodes starting November 11 and air them starting in February.
- There is a new largest pot in TV poker history: $1.1 million. It happened during the filming of Million Dollar Cash Game season 4 (spoilers), which will air on Sky Sports (we don't get it in the US) in January 2010.
- Norman Chad was on the September 4 Ante Up podcast. We get some humor, his opinion that the viewers don't care about poker, how he got the job, some information about the production process, how he gets criticized for his commentary (notably comments about Josh Arieh), etc.
- Someone sued Face the Ace for copying his idea. There are similarities, e.g. choosing pros from behind doors, and his idea dates back to at least 2007, but Full Tilt claims they've been working on the idea since 2005 according to Pokerati.
