Poker After Dark is in rerun till December.
This week's newsbites:
- AJ Benza is claiming they might replace him with a female cohost on High Stakes Poker season 6. Pokerati has the satellite radio clip.
- ESPN will be airing the Caesars Cup and WSOP Europe in early February. It looks like two hours for the former and 8 hours for the latter.
- Krantz had a couple of interesting blog posts about 2 Months $2 Million. In one he talks about interesting deleted scenes. In the other he defends the $2 million goal, saying, among other things, that they'd made at least two million dollars each of the previous two summers.
- The September 25 Ante Up podcast has an interview with Kirk Fallah of Windy City Poker Championship. It starts at the 36 minute mark, and is a fascinating account of how the show is made on a low budget (summary).
- The Sports Legends Challenge is officially kaput: Their parent company was sued by the Venetian over bailing out of a planned event, and they shut down their office. Pokerati summarizes the mess.
